Itinerary
Algaida
After traveling through the windmill landscape, we arrive at the village of Algaida, where we will make our first stop to admire one of the best-preserved windmills. We won’t be able to enter the interior as it is private property, but we can observe all the details of these beautiful structures that have withstood the test of time and have provided energy and sustenance to the island’s inhabitants.
Pina
On our way to Cura, we encounter this quiet village of just 500 inhabitants, where we will make our second stop. Here, we’ll take a walk to the Cross of Pina, visit its fountain, and hear the story of the old public washhouses, a vestige from the Islamic era notable for the hydraulic systems among the village’s archaeological remains.
Lloret
Continuing our route, we will detour to the village of Lloret de Vista Alegre, with just 1,400 inhabitants. We won’t stop in the village itself, but we will drive through its plains while learning about the history and customs of this enchanting place.
Montuïri
Another village we will pass through with our expert local guides, Montuïri is a perfect example of Rural and Traditional Mallorca, perched on a hill with endless slopes. On the outskirts of the village, we will make our third stop of the day to recharge our energy while enjoying a delicious pa amb oli in one of the most typical and popular spots among locals.
Randa and the Cura Monastery
Our route continues to the village of Randa, which we will pass through until reaching our final stop: the majestic Cura Sanctuary. Perched at 550 meters above sea level and surrounded by nature, it offers spectacular 360º views of Mallorca, and on clear days, we can even see the island of Cabrera.
